To bring this thread back to its original theme... Here's an event that happened to me -

About a year ago, I went to "Healing Hands" on King Street, Newtown, for the first time.

It was about 7pm when I got there, went to the top of the stairs and was met by the ML (Yuki? or Suki?... I'm not sure of her name). The ML led me to a room, but as she did we passed through the shop's waiting area (which consisted simply of a couch and a coffee table). Bizarrely, sitting at the couch was another punter, sound asleep, snoring, with his wallet open on the coffee table and money spread all around.

None of the shops have cameras in rooms. That would be bad for business and also illegal.

Most of the shops have security cameras, how many depends on the shop.
Areas covered are (in the order of likelihood, as to where the cameras are): Front door (back door, if there is one), hallways, reception area, waiting room (if it is a common area), workers' rest room.

The purpose of the cameras - CCTV security system usually - is to:
1. provide a deterrent against robbery. Possible robbers would typically case the joint first (at least if they are somewhat smart) and if they notice the cameras, then move to an easier 'job'.
2. in the event of robbery, provide security footage for police to identify the perpetrator.
3. the camera pointing outside of front (/back) door can also be used to refuse entrance to potential robbers or trouble makers (If they see two masked men outside the door - don't open the door. Also if there is someone who has previously caused trouble, or is clearly high - don't open the door.)
4. Camera in waiting area (in addition to above reasons) could be used for the girls to monitor if the client is someone they are not comfortable meeting

No brothel should be so stupid as to post footage into youtube (or any other website).
As soon as the word gets around (and it will) that it was shot in a particular brothel, they can kiss goodbye to their clientele.
Really bad for business!
