I was just looking at the teams of five Rhythmic gymnastic girls using the five balls.

I've never seen that discipline before. Basically, I thought I was looking at the impossible.

The girls' feats of co-ordination, physical artistry and memory are, the word is used too much, but is valid here, unbelievable.

The gymnasium setting isn't ideal. Such was the magic the girls' were performing they should be doing it in an open meadow under moonlight. They are like spirits or sprites from a Midsummer's Night's Dream. I can't believe what I just saw. I can't split them, it is all equally impossible. They ALL deserve gold medals.

I guess the above are just words if you haven't seen it, but I've been thinking about all the mathematical complications and possible variables of them enacting a successful performance.

The accuracy demanded of each and every action, otherwise the whole stops working. Each complication is multiplied by the one before it. It is like girl x ball x girl x ball x girl x ball x girl x ball x girl x ball. Let's say that is a five to one difficulty of each moving part of the machine (5 balls and five girls interacting with precision while doing ballet moves) getting everything exactly right in one sequence of the performance.

So that is 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 = 9,765,625 to one chance.

And that is just for one sequence, and they do heaps of sequences! I can't recall how many, like 30 of them?
