Don’t bother. A while ago, I booked Alice for waxing on 2 separate occasions and they baited and switched with someone else who didn’t have a clue both times. There are some horror stories in previous threads.

There may have been reasons for that depending on when that was. Book Jessie and make sure you are going to get Jessie. She's stretched thin between the two shops so only does half a day in each last I heard (like morning Bexley, arvo St Mary's.)

Valid point man, the reason im looking into it is that i get nasty skin irritations / in growns when i shave. Havent thought about the creams side of things but yeah, my reasoning is more due to skin annoyances

Try them on some other hairy body part like a leg or arm first wait a couple of days and see if you have any bad reactions, then try it on the old fella.

Some people only need 6 sessions, some people need ongoing sessions. I had most of hair gone by 6 but not all. I still have a few random hairs that are finner so just shave them off as it is not worth getting morr treatments for and barely noticeable.
It is still cheaper than waxing when you buy on sale. Cheapest I have seen is about $50 as Eden laser and Laser clinics Australia regularly have sales with varying discounts. Pre-pay some sessions if you want decide to go ahead after your first.

Japanese WL I fucked a couple of days ago had the laser treatment done.
It was definitely silky smooth.
But she said it took 8 sessions and then she still had to go for a top up every now and then.
I reckon it would be easier for a girl because it's basically a flat surface whereas with a guy there are many more bumps and bits and pieces to do and more surface area overall.
And yeah, she said it hurt. Bit I reckon it would hurt more on a guy for the same reasons as above.
I guess the good news is when it's done its pretty much done whereas with waxing you have to keep on doing it forever.

I have tried a few laser, but with light colored hair it wasn’t very successful, and I like getting a regular waxing now.

A few shops doing waxing will follow with a R&T massage, often by one of the ML as the like a clean playing field.
i will add, pick your shop as there are a few places that rush the wax, to get the massage fee.

Currently there are two good places I like to go, Jessie at Saigon Princess, or Anna at 30 Espon rd.

Beauty Wax bar in Bondi Junction. While they run as a legit beauty salon, the owner of Thai Massage Time (Amy) that operates from the same location took over. Thai massage time is not legit and does extras but i believe they keep the beauty business legit and I think they have different staff for each business so you may not get anything but may be worth a try.
