BUT, I am not sure, but I suspect that location might have been flooded recently. (I haven't checked yet).

2 to 3 m above sea level, probably not affected by flooding but the region's economy has been badly. Lease would indicate a purchase price around 2 million. Best price indicator might be a similar size warehouse and discount the occupancy - more research needed, especially into current Brothel Licence applications in the region, especially Lismore or Byron + flood maps. Central Ballina (1.4m) was flooded March 1.

Actually it was higher in some areas, but looking at its location I think it stayed relatively dry there.
Mind you I flew over a few days ago and it still looked a mess there from the air.

If 244 has defaulted on their lease, all the fittings might still be in place and a good opportunity for someone to get into a new business with low start up costs.

If the ICAC 2021 report is correct, the Council supervising this area, or at least some of its councillors and officials were found to be seriously in breach of all sorts of issues. Individuals have been referred to the DPP for possible prosecution. I don't think that related to these premises but it's all local colour.
