A transaction every 2-3 mins. Doesn’t sound like a punter but more the receptionist or someone with access to the eftpos terminal to repeatedly make transactions until declined due to insufficient funds

Good point. And the funds will go into the merchant’s account (not the receptionist’s). So it could be the owner too.

Really bad fraud prevention from NAB, TBH. That kind of transaction pattern should've set off fraud alarm bells on the third withdrawal at the very least. Who would do so many transactions for the same amount on the same EFTPOS terminal over such a short period of time?

Sounds to me like they have zero controls in place. I'd think about switching to a better bank if I were holding a NAB card.
