Hey I'm looking for some recommendations on treating myself like Charlie Sheen for a week in Thailand.
Ideally I'd love to have 1 or 2 girls to be able to visit a few hours a day over 3-4 days, what's the best method of organising this and knowing what I'm getting eg photos, reviews etc. Also does that limit the hotels I can do this at?

I’ve been to Thailand many times and the place for you is Pattaya. You will be able to do all the above mentioned and more. Most decent hotels in Pattaya have a pool. Try to stay central pattaya, it’s closer to all the action.

Come on syxxx - you got the internet there - Prep is a drug you take if barebacking to stop you getting HIV - if you use condoms no need to use, if barebacking or Ladyboys - up to you but talk to your doc- yes own up - he's heard it before.

try and get a morning flight from Australia so you arrive in the afternoon, than at Bangkok Airport go down to the Bottom Level and catch the Blue Cabs, they are like a private taxi, turn right as you exit the building when you see the taxis, and you will find their service desk, they are a lot safer than the public cabs green and yellow cabs,
the price is fixed so no need to haggle, make shore you get a contact number to call to arrange for your pick up, you might be better off staying your last night in Bangkok especially if you have an early return flight,
At First i recommend you have at least 10K Baht with you, you can use the ATMs at the airport, Cash is KING Still in Thailand,
at the hotel they will ask for a security deposit, pay cash, than you can use the return deposit to pay for your cab back to the airport.

Thanks mate, yeah looks like alot of scammers especially the airport transfer. I'll be using revolut as everything is off the books but that first wallet load is a big one to remember

I'm a frequent traveller to Thailand and never been scammed at Swampy airport. The public taxi's have a ticket system now and most will run on the meter unless you agree to fixed price. Given them cash money for the tolls and you'll be in central BKK before you know it.

While in BKK or other main centres like Phuket or Chiang Mai, use taxi's or Grab. People complain about the high prices of Grab but it's stupid cheap compared to a taxi ride in Sydney =)

Exchanging AU dollars for Thai baht is easy, at the airport go down the train station level and use one of the ones down there, better rates than the large 'bank' ones. Sim cards can also be found at baggage carousel area or just outside. I generally use AIS on a 30 day plan with unlimited data for about $30AUD. The first 100gb or so is on 5G from memory.

As for Pattaya, if you have the cash - try to get a hotel with a rooftop pool / bar that faces the beach. One of the best sunset views anywhere in the world ! I actually enjoy punting more in BKK, there's plenty of areas and also sites like smooci.com and apps like thaifriendly.

There's plenty of punting areas in BKK ... the obvious are around Soi 4 (Nana) and Soi Cowboy. However there are heaps of other areas along the Sukhumvit corridor such as around Soi 24 or 26 and don't forget about the soapy massages up around Huai Khwang MRT area. I'm not sure how many of them are back operating afte Covid though.

Lastly, as of last year, Thailand made weed legal to consume so there's weed shops and cafes EVERYWHERE in the main areas. If you're a pothead, you'll be in paradise!

I have been to Thailand around 15 times till date and one thing you do with Thai girls in Thailand is to have a drink or lunch with them, of you connect well then you are gonna be amazed in bed, they give cold shoulders very quickly and also turn into hot sex machines based in their liking. I suggest stay around Soi Buakhao in Pattaya, close to LK Metro area. Finding a Hotel that will allow 2 extra guests may be a challenge. The Vogue doesn't allow 2 extras.

Perhaps The Base, these are tiny 1 bedroom apartments. There is no reception, you meet the manager for that unit to get the keys. Good pool. Near Central. These are all privately owned and managed. But no one to check up if you take extra company.

Theres some cheap guesthouses in Soi Lengkee and Soi Pothole. Thailand hotels mainly uses Agoda and Booking to advertise rooms. Be aware that Agoda prices do not include Taxes and Charges, but Bookingdotcom does. Use the map button to look at availability in the area you choose. You will find a decent hotel for around 50AUD a night. Cheap places 25AUD a night.
