View Full Version : Question Viagra from Instantscripts

My doctor a few years ago prescribed for me Viagra. The prescription was for 100mg with as many repeats as allowed. I filled all the repeats before they weren't valid any more. As I cut them in half and sometimes quarters, and only use when visiting WLs(don't need them with the Mrs) I finally ran out early this year. I went online with some mob who sent me out a box of a generic type. Was pissed off but when I went to check the invoice and order I read that it had "Viagra" in bold but "Generic" in fine print.
Anyway I'm sure the generic is not as effective as the original and I feel the side effects more with them than the orignal. Well not for me. Funny, I take em in the morning and when doing the deed 2 hours later can be semi hard, but some 5 hours later will be really rock solid hard.
My question is this, Am about to try to use the "Instanscript" company this time round. If I click for Viagra, will they send me viagra or some generic tablet instead? If anyone has used them your guidance would be appreciated.

Never used them before, but there have been some really bad reviews of them on trustpilot:

“Viagra” just the trade name that was registered by Pfizer, the pharmaceutical company that owned the patent for the chemical called “Sildenafil” which is the ingredient in Viagra tablets.

The patent was registered in 1994 and expired in 2019. This means any company can produce Sildenafil tablets under any name (but not the name Viagra). Some even manufacture a gel with Sildenafil being the active ingredient.

Your best bet is to find a bulk-billing GP to give you a prescription for Viagra. Any chemist will sell you a generic brand for less than $3 a dose.

However, there is a better product called Cialis which does the same job but has a much longer life (24 to 36 hours) instead of Viagra/Sildenafil which has a short effective time of about 6 hours.

Cialis is also off patent and therefore also cheap. You can find out how much on chemistwarehouse.com.au

The generics you buy online tend to be made in India and the doses vary. For example, 100mg tablets may be weaker or stronger than 100mg because of the inferior production lines and quality control. Also, you never know what else is added to the ingredients.

The problem is finding a Doctor who bulk bills. With instantscript they can send you a script online. You still have to pay $20 for the consultation only, and then you can go to any pharmacy. Maybe you can opt for the more expensive genuine product when you go to the pharmacy.

simple online docs, they send you legit viagra (not generics), a bit more expensive but no need to visit GP for a script.

I can assure you that most generics are exactly identical to the brand name tablets.
In fact, there is one generic that is made on the same production line as Viagra in several countries. The reason Pfizer makes generic to compete against their own Viagra brand is to protect "revenue leakage" when customers want to save a few bucks and choose to buy a non-brand.

Just did it on Instantscripts for Cialis 20mg. Paid the $19 fee and they sent prescription by emai in less than 5 minutes. Never tried Cialis before but apparently it works up to 36 hours. Will go to pharmacy after work and see what happens.

You will never go back to Viagra. I moved to Cialis about 10 years ago. Works exactly the same way but you never worry about how much time before it stops working. In France, they call Cialis "La weekend pill" because you take it Friday night and you screw all you want for the entire weekend.

Hey Andreww, do you reckon the generic brand for Cialis sold at Chemist Warehouse will be just as good as the original? The cost is more than double.

The fillers in generics are cheap shit, that is why some people have a reaction with any generic medication.

I'm on APO Tadalafil [Cialis], the Urologist prescribed 20mg Cialis but allowed generics on the script - they work out to be around $18 for 4 tablets [$4.50 each]. I find that 10mg is effective and discussed this with him, 4 tablets of 10mg is the same price as the 20mg [they only come in packs of four], however the 5mg tablets are about $27 for 28 tablets [per pack] or approx $2 for 10mg. My prescriptions are now for 28 X 5mg APO Tadalafil and prescription repeats through my GP.

This is how my first time experience with Instantscripts went today.
Did the online thing. Filled out the info required and paid $19 for consultation fee. Received a prescription for Cialis (20mg 8 tablets) within a couple of minutes. Went to Chemist Wharehouse across the road from work. Was informed by pharmacist that they only had the generic one. Paid $30 for the tablets and left. All in all 15 minutes max from when I paid for consultation to having the tablets in my hand.
Now to see if they work. Am planning to have 2 punts this weekend. One Saturday arvo and one Sunday morning and another with the Mrs if she is keen.

I found the generic has less red face syndrome and still work well but maybe not enough to break tiles on it like the original.

Does Cialis give you the same hot flushes/red face etc? (Although I've found that's becoming less of an issue with the blue pills)

I’ve always thought that the red face was because I was getting a boner on the spot, right there in public eg. Having a meeting in the office, buying coffee from a hot barista.

Just earlier today I was having a massage when my ML flipped me over she asked why my face was so red like a tomato...

Lol. Doesn't help being face down for 20 mins does it. I've found the red face calms down about 40 mins. Pill still effective tho

You're right it doesn't lol, plus the heater/aircon was on which made it worse, I get "flushed" easily, even at gym or while doing exercise, plus it doesn't help I have a naturally red complexion lmao :fire: The pill definitely made it worse, it's a bit embarrassing sometimes, luckily that's the only side effect I get from V, no headaches or anything else like many have mentioned

Well, for me, the worst side effect from V or any of those meds is the stuffy nose.

In an RNT setting it's even worse. My nostrils get extra congested as I lay face down. Many times the ML would notice this and ask me if I'm ok. It's really awkward.

yea I guess I'm lucky in that regard, I've never experienced the "common" side effects like headaches or stuffy/blocked nose, only red face, which seems to be temporary (although when it happens its embarrassing), one time a ML asked me if I was shy while giving me a HJ, I almost lost my boner right there lol.

The first couple of times I used it it felt like a had a very mild sunburn on my face, but no redness, and a bit of a stuffy nose with both lasting an hour or two. to overcome this I'd take a dose the night before if I was seeing a ML the next morning. I don't have any symptoms now no matter when I take a tablet.

Yes, I buy from them and I have no problems at all. No side effects. In the old days when I used Viagra, I used to get the blue tint vision.

I concur with the blue vision. My experience is a bright blue version of everything - computer screens and phone screens seem brighter. Also able to do more squats while on the V, most likely due to more blood flow.

I’ve been using pilot.com for my scripts of sildenafil. I tried going the GP route but my go route said I didn’t meet it since my test levels were normal.

So far from pilot I was able to get sildenafil but I’ve recently changed to cialis but have yet to try it out

What "test levels" was your GP talking about. If any man says to their GP that they cannot get a full erection while stimulated then there is no other diagnosis except ED and there are only 3 drugs to treat it. Strange doctor you have!

Hahaha... Never heard of a test either. The first time I went to my GP to ask for a script a few years ago, I was recently separated and never had that problem before. At the time it was out of nerves I guess, as i had never had sex with anyone else but my wife for over 25 years. My GP said to me not to be embarrassed and that he prescribes it to many men in their early 20s. And my GP isn't someone who easily prescribes medicines if he deems them not necessary.

Did the test with the generic Cialis last weekend. Cut a 20mg tablet in half and was very satisfied with the result.

Are you referring to your testosterone levels? If so then your GP is a fool...

A normal test level does not guarantee a healthy erection, people can suffer from ED for various reasons, there will be people who has high test levels but sub-optimal erection, and vice versa.

A low test level may lead to reduced sex drive/libido in some individuals but erection quality is a different story.
