Exactly ! As with any costumes, there are Summer fashions and Winter fashions, how often do you hear Chinese women got hypothermia due to what they wear ?

I feel that if we are only looking at the erotic adaptations of these costumes, the qipao is clearly superior. It lends itself to such things much more easily due to the way it is normally constructed.

The kimono works better for a more reserved, elegant style of beauty. Even a yukata (the lighter type worn in the summer) maintains the same aesthetic.

I also wouldn't say no to a tiny Vietnamese girl in an ao dai.

Well, as this is a sex forum, we are going to talk about the sexual aspect of the cheongsam and kimono:

If both garment are dressed in the traditional way, I think it's much easier to strip the girl naked if she is wearing a cheongsam! vs if she is wearing a kimono - because by the time it takes to unwrap and undone and undress a kimono girl , Julia Gillard may have lost her election !

Oh sorry, I meant to say me losing my erection as it takes too long to unwrap a kimono !!

I think it's rather disingenuous to say that we only discuss things in sexual contexts on this forum.

I've had the pleasure of peeling a yukata ( the real kimono is rarely worn and incredibly difficult to put on or take off. ) off of some Japanese girls. It is sensational.
