An open letter to my fellow brothers and punters "named and shamed" and to the Nassau County, Long island, New York authorities :

brothers you have nothing to be ashamed of, you have done nothing wrong, you are just ordinary guys paying for sex; you are not criminals or undesirables.

Its the authorities of Nassau County, Long island, New York who should be named and shamed,
Shame on you for criminalising normal behaviour,
shame on you for ruining the lives of ordinary citizens who did nothing other than just pay for sex
shame on you for trampling on the civil rights of your own citizens,
shame on you for wasting taxpayers money on a futile and pointless exercise rather than focussing on real crime,
shame on you for betraying freedom and democracy.

Generally, I've had some very good experiences with Americans - especially in the USA rather than the tourists. I guess all tourists have the capacity to be loud and obnoxious... What I don't get is how a country that supports freedom of speech can be so backwards about prostitution.
