Any Indian Bros out there that can shed any light on this ?
I have never seen an Indian WL/ML.

From here: Immigration Department audits reveal large-scale fraud of visa system by Indian students and workers (http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-07-22/immigration-audits-reveal-large-scale-visa-fraud/4833710)

The ABC has revealed that thousands of Indian students, skilled workers and 457 visa holders have been admitted to Australia on dodgy travel and work documents.

Briefings prepared by the Immigration Department and obtained by the ABC's Fact Checking Unit under Freedom of Information show out-of-control, large-scale fraud of the visa system.

The internal audits show fraud rates approaching 50 per cent, and an Immigration Department struggling to properly identify people who are entering the country.

"Identity fraud is a significant risk in the Indian caseload given how easily genuine documents with fraudulent details can be obtained," one document said.

Another quote from the article:

The man was eventually caught and re-deported, however the migration agent responsible for the fraudulent application was also living in Australia under a false identity.

The documents suggest that, in exchange for payment, the agent helped many others into Australia while avoiding detection.

Not good when they profile a particular race, just because it happened to be the profile they were looking at, or a recent surge. All races at some stage have had this kind of thing happen.

We need them to work in all the service stations and 7 11s around the country!

Wouldn't it be nice if they put prices on things in the 7 11s ...

Wikipedia is the ultimate source of truth!
For a forum like this, sooner or later you'll be able to put 'cimws' in Wikipedia and get something meaningful. :miao:

Maybe you have misunderstood a bit.
India is a country and Indians are citizens of that country, not a race (or maybe you thought they were talking about Native Americans).
India as a country has many different ethnic, religious and racial groups and neither the article nor immigration never referred to any one specific group, they were talking about India as a country.
The major points being:
- a country with a lot of poverty is a nest for corruption and fraud.
- a country with archaic technology (as far as passports and identification is concerned) is where such corruption and fraud are easy to do.

This has NOTHING to do with race!

No it's not, but it has a lot of useful information. Just remember to check the references at the bottom of the page to see if they are credible.

In the case of India belonging to Asia, Wikipedia is right though.
I don't have to check that from Wikipedia, I learned that at school long before Wikipedia or even internet existed.
Confusion about the matter may exist as I have noticed that there are countries (note the plural) where geography is not taught at school.

Anyone saying that India is not a part of the Asian continent better come up with some pretty new 'innovative and contradictory' evidence to prove otherwise.
