Well brother,

Not exactly sure what you are trying to say here! But I'm guessing you are doing it tough at the moment!

I can appreciate that and I understood how you must feel, I was between jobs in 2007 and it was tough! Thank heaven there was no 10 Railway parade Burwood where you can get a 30 min massage with a free HJ throw in for $30 ! (that was before I even heard about Newtown !)

Just hang in there mate, work hard, do your best and the tide will turn your way.

Good luck

Cheers

Tell me mirror, what is wrong?
Can it be my De La Clothes
Or is it just my De La Soul?
What I do ain't make-believe
People say I sit and try
But when it comes to being De La
It's just me myself and I

De La Soul, Me Myself and I. They also had a great hit "Three's the magic number", which incidentally is the theme song for the national fingering association.

Bro herecticx, when you tally up the pure $$ value of punts undertaken yes, it can be depressing when compared to the material objects that well could have consumed the same amount, but what you have instead is intangible. You have experiences, you've rewards only your heart can appreciate, that only an aesthetic can appreciate. Don't despair.

Get your priorities straight mate, if punting is contributing to you being 'broke' you should step away from it for the time being. Don't let your other head plan your future, Wank your self and relieve yourself before making crucial decisions.

Like i tell all my ex gfs. Stay strong and carry on. It will gt better

You are not alone- Quite a common realisation some of us experience, especially when we look at things in retrospect.
My advice is take a step back for a while, seek what is missing in life, get out there
and get it, and get busy doing other things.
Get into a healthy mindset, and don't dwell on what could have been or
what you could have spent the money on, as this will drive you go crazy.

Create a separate account for punting and get into some type of savings plan and stick to it.
Go and create some good and healthy relationships and interactions with people outside
the world of M/l's and W/l's.
Most of all, don't despair and let it get you down, keep positive,
and seek help if you feel it is becoming a addiction and you can't cope.

best of luck.....

new house, new clothes, new car? .. try not to link the perception of your self worth to the ownership of material possessions. invest in yourself in meaningful ways, focus on the truely important things in life and try not to give such a fuck about everything else.

Mate, the only thing you should worry about is your health - mental and physical. Money comes and goes. I've seen well off people (including myself) make seemingly good decisions to have it all go pear-shaped in a divorce settlement and then you start from scratch again. About the only thing I regretted then was NOT punting. The ex-missus got everything anyway, I might as well have had empty balls for my trouble. The only one that made any money was the solicitors.

If you fall down, get up, dust yourself off, rethink your strategy... I.e. get a punting strategy. Save up for a month. Take that cash and flip it at the casino or on the tips on the forum - only use half of what you saved to minimise the risk. If you don't want to take the risk, see a more premium shop for 30 mins instead of going for a quickie HJ. You'll be on cloud 9 for days or weeks afterwards.
