A hobby is something you like doing. A sport is a physical workout of your body, whether you like the sport or not. So, whatever the case, the common factor they get you mind from the daily boring activities and keep your sanity, I think the mental release is what's important. So, if you mist justify yourself, tell your partner that you have a "new" friend and that you are going for some "sport".

I have to agree and disagree with your title:

Sex is a basic human needs, it's primary and ultimate purpose is reproduction and that's for the survival of our specis. It's by-product is sexual pleasure and family bonding, physical and emotional connections and whatever else you could relate sex to - then I suppose sex can also be a sport or hobby too!!

Haha, brother Mate, not everyone is sexually super charged like yourself, 6 or 7 times in a row is not a sport, it's a stud career!!

My partner the other night got a pretty good hard 16/17 minutes from me so that it was long enough for her to cum - to me, that was a sporting achievement as I usually only a single digit runner !!
