Greetings Brothers,

This is the second installment of my two part journey into the massage world of
greater Steak 'n' Kidney. If you've read Part 1 you'll have a fair idea of where I'm
coming from, so I won't cover old ground.

A couple of days after my first safari I managed a few hours spare and I chose to
conduct a mini expedition into the not so illustrious class of joint. Usually I
prefer a bit more intrigue and to use what meagre skills I've honed over the years
to achieve the result I want, but these shops are a more your logbook service type.
I was a bit pressed for time so surely success should be much more likely,
shouldn't it?

This time I decided to do things in reverse order ie. Start with a couple of shops I
knew and work my way into the unknown (if I got that far).

That being the case I began my trek at Hurstville; 1 Rose Street, near the
Westfield carpark entrance. It's on the first floor up some dodgy stairs, how many
of those have I ventured up, 'tis a sign surely. Now this shop is clearly in your
'not so illustrious class of joint' category. Yet I've had a couple of pretty good
punts here over time.

They have a locker room, you are given a key and you store your clothes shoes
valuables etc. You dress in a short pyjama outfit for the walk to the room, so
you'll have it on for about 20 seconds tops.

I got to the top of the stairs and to my horror, it's gone!

No shop, empty, vanished. Still a big 'Massage” sign out the front but inside a
vacuum, save for the dust. No notice to say they've moved, nothing.

It was with a heavy heart that I trudged my way back towards the train station
when a light went on. Didn't I hear somewhere of another RnT over on Ormonde
Parade? I'll check it out. Found it easily, Ormonde Pde. is not long, it has a sign
saying acupuncture among other things and looked a bit too legit, perhaps it's
alright but Waynekerr wasn't going to ask here for fear of being tossed.

The second place on my mental list was another shop at which I've had success
in the past, and isn't really so much a lower class shop, but not the Taj Mahal
either; 282 Princes Highway, Banksia. This is a Thai shop, often I'd strike some
really pretty girls and my success rate has been quite high, as it was at their
previous shop in Carlton.

This time I saw two girls, both yummy, but I'm afraid WayneK was to be
disappointed. Maybe just these girls, maybe they didn't like the look of me or
maybe a policy change, I don't know.

Marrickville was next on my list. Now how can a punter go wrong here? Lily
Body and Feet massage was my port of call, 300 Illawarra Road.

The parlour is through a narrow doorway and up the ubiquitous dodgy stairs to the
first floor. A young masseuse came out of a back room to greet me at the semi
makeshift reception. This place is typical of your lower end shops, complete with
the coloured lights.

I began to explain my requirements to her when she motioned me toward one of
the rooms for 'privacy'. She swung the door open and, shock, there was a punter
in there, face down thankfully, with another masseuse at his side. The door was
quickly closed. He was a big M*F*er. I wouldn't like him chasing me down those
blasted stairs.

Anyway the girl said that she couldn't help me, which was a shame because she
was quite a looker. She called out to the other girl, in the room, in Chinese, got a
lengthy reply and then told me that the other girl didn't think she could help me
either but I was welcome to come back when she was free and maybe we could
come to some agreement. But time was short. Damn.

On to 24 Railway Parade, now if ever there was a substandard shop this is the
one, a huge massage sign out the front but the side door was the one in use.
They have these plastic streamers in the doorway that you have to negotiate to
enter. Turn left to the front room where the ladies are waiting, there were three
of them; one older and large, one passable and one a cutie.

Now knowing my luck of late I was expecting the first lady but no, the cutie got
up (must have been her turn) and took me to one of the rooms. You want
massage? (Did she think I was there for a pound of bananas?) I explained to her
that I would like a one hour massage + + +. She thought for a moment and
offered a 'nice' massage + +. Hmm, I strategically declined and moved to leave
the shop.

Before I got near the exit I was pounced upon (so to speak) by the first lady (they
weren't going to let a customer slip through their fingers) again taking me into the
room. Same explanation, same response and again I declined, didn't fancy her
anyway.

Here was the dilemma that I faced; there was no time to continue my search as I
had an appointment that evening, the first lady was cute, only time for one more
punt this trip and it was arranged (FS (report to come)), should I go for it or not?
Broke my rule, dick wins over mind again.

Back to the front room and I summoned the cutie. Into to the room for the third
time, I confirmed the massage + + and paid up. She massaged me for about 30
minutes, it was a fair massage, a little contrived but good enough, just. The + +
part lasted for 20 mins and was ok too, nothing to write home about but I can't
complain. The lady was talkative throughout both sections. 10 minutes to
shower and dress and I was out of there.

Overall it was a disappointing outing, I expected it would have been easier to
achieve my goal in the mostly cheaper shops, but this wasn't the day for it.

While writing this I'm reminded of a fellow I saw while on holidays in the tropics
a few years ago. Obviously troppo, he was walking down the street in a
small community, shorts and a singlet on, wearing a straw hat that was more air
than straw and one thong.

As we slowly passed I asked 'Mate, did you lose a thong?' 'Nah' he proudly
replied with a wide one toothed smile and a twinkle in his eye, 'I found one'.

You see, I thought it was bad that he had one thong (having lost one), yet to him it
was a bonus to have one thong (because he found one).

If I think of this journey in that light, I shouldn't be disappointed that I missed out
on my + + + massage, instead I should view it as a bonus that I got an acceptable
+ + massage experience for not much money. It all depends on how you look at it.

As before I will post a more detailed report in the private section.

Regards,

WayneK.
