This seems to happen every now and then.
It's just a public relations exercise by the authorities.
Things will be back to normal again in a few weeks.
And even if they do really clamp down on the sex industry in Dongguan it will just move to another province. China is a big place!
There will always be horny punters, young women who want/need to make quick money, and entrepreneurs who will bring them together.

Well, even in Socialist Communist country like China these days, you will need hard evidence to make any arrest !!

May be they can only find 67 used condoms that's why they can only arrest 67 girls in the acts !!

Yeap, there may be 10,000 other WLs/MLs, mostly are in sauna/massage shops and perhaps they don't do much covered FS, most are bare back and BBBJ/CIM...............haha - so there ain't no evidence as everything have been swallowed !!

Lately they cunningly move police in from other areas to raid these places.
They don't inform the local cops until the raid is well underway.

The parts about the public backlash over what's perceived as an unjust public shaming shaming of sex workers was interesting to read about. Makes China look somewhat progressive in this area.

Also to clarify, the articles state that 67 suspects were arrested; they may not all necessarily be sex workers.
