Saw an ad on E&B for hanatatoo - looked and sounded great. Verified pictures and a link to her website. In the ad the usual stuff about genuine etc though she pointed out we would know it was her because of her tatoo on her left breast and we could see enough of her face. Started to get excited - this sounded genuine even though she is at Spring Hill. OK - so today I decide to call and make a booking for tomorrow. The ad is gone - first bit of doubt creeps in. Then I try to call - no answer. Text and get an almost immediate response - I start to smell a pimp.
I was wondering if E&B pull ads for any reason in particular if the ad had 'verified' pictures but maybe a pimp was using other girls? Just a thought - anyone have any knowledge here?
Figured I would go see this girl anyway - you never know... Though I will be very prepared to walk if it is not as advertised.

I checked E&B yesterday and this ad was back. So I started to have a little hope that it was genuine. My 'After Report' for Hana will give the details. Dispite the 'verified photos', web page, assurances that it will be her as we can see her face and the tatoo on her left breast etc etc it was just a pimp ad from spring hill. So the little faith I had in 'verified photos' has been eroded with this example of the pimps making use of them. Note to self: don't go to Spring Hill.... ever!

Did you contact E&B to report the problem? If you did then you are assisting the process, if not then you are part of the reason it is failing.

I have used their on-line contact form - hopefully they take some notice given that the photos are verified.

I was pleased to get an email from E&B telling me that they have removed 'Verified photos' from the ad. To be honest I am surprised that acted. I checked the ad and yes - it is removed.

So they are obviously still happy to let a multitude of fake adverts appear on their site, so long as they get paid.

You could always contact the ACCC regarding false advertising :grimace:

I was fairly confident they would act. Reading their website they seem to take themselves fairly seriously as a legitimate advertiser.
They do take things very seriously and some unscrupulous operators might sneak through so don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Members of this forum can make their job a lot easier if we report to them as soon as we find someone abusing the system. It will make the website a lot more accurate.

Checking the people all the time would be impossible. If we find they are (the advertisers) substituting the photo in the add with another WL it would do all of us the world of good to let them know..... Just my 2 cents worth. I hope a lot of you will agree.
