yes, many good shops on Logan Rd and the streets nearby: The major ones are Angie's, Stoneham, Mozhi, Sunshine, Pure, Red Tea, GTM. The lesser ones are numerous (the dodgy shop in Stones Corner, Greenslopes, Natural Therapies, the one south of GTM etc).

I dropped into Sunshine durig the week. as has been previously mentioned it is busy. As I'm walking along the street towards the shop, likely looking punter coming opposite direction, Sure enough, he goes in. I give him a polite 7 minutes before I enter. One girl sweeping floor, one girl already heading into Punter A. One older lady, nose stud shows me to room.

She's busy taking calls from you guys. Girls applying job, girls not showing up. In between she rubs me for massage.

Tug was nice but standard mainland China service from this one.

I think it is better not to have this lady do the service.

One guy entered shop during my massage. Then another as i'm ready to leave.

For me, it's just too busy. I like some discretion getting in/out.

I know I am a new member but have been this place 3 times since it opened had a good young Chinese girl all 3 times massage was pretty good with good ending , however shop is on a main shopping strip so no so discreet for some people , when getting massage very thin walls u can here all other conversations going on bit hard to relax . No that is a genuine issue. I was more referring to guys who complain about certain shops not giving them the result they wanted. Usually it is when they get a girl they don't know.

Went to this place completely by chance due to some circumstances and didnt know the name of the place until i had entered already and was prebooked, nice decor and environment but it is busy as heck but i guess not surprising given its recent opening.
Time will tell if it will be a gem or not.

After an initial walk-in when they first opened, have booked several times since and never had a hitch.

Hard to beat anywhere in Bne with consistently high quality msg, HAB, clean n tidy and Smoooooth music!!

A new paper sheet every time too which I like.

One tactic has been to book at off-peak times if at all possible and therefore less chance of over-runs or heavy traffic.

Car park & entrance out the back too if you think your wife's Mum is going to spot you when she is stopped at the lights on Logan Road!:sweat::grimace:

They did start with only 2-3 staff but now have a minimum of 4 on at any one time.

It would have maybe helped to tell people that the special had finished too!

Not perfect but pretty damned good and you can duck over the road for a counter meal & beer at the pub afterwards!!

If I lived in Holland Park, not much would get done around the house!!

How is walk in an advantage for this? Without a booking you still miss out on a session if they are busy, in fact you are less likely to get a session without a booking if they are busy.

The only real difference is if you stress yourself out over your booking being taken, which in my experience is FAR less likely than getting a bad ML/no session/having to wait because you don't have a booking.

Easily the most fun massage I've ever had.

Totally agree on the customer service comments todger. It's the little things that make a difference too. An extra few minutes or a cup of tea etc. In my experience, shops tend to start with good intentions then fade over time.

Quality, well trained staff are also essential to success (like food in a restaurant) The split with the shop/ ML also has to be a key part of staying on top. MLs also often work at more than one shop too so you would think that good MLs would be popular and get drawn to where they get the best pay. This might be off the mark too but hope that the good all-round shops make a healthy living and the shit underpaying ones go under.

Also believe that a renaissance is underway in the Brisbane Msg market with a current wave of new shops and private operators.

As per a cpl of comments on other recent threads, the vast majority of owners are ruthless business people who are your best friends when you walk in the door. Yehhhh right!!!! Even chat to you online!! Come and visit me.... Blah

I went here for the first time today and couldnt have really asked for more. Pleasant manager followed by a lovely attractive therapist who looked after me...very well.

Prices were fine at $40 for half hour. Plenty of parking out the back and an ATM at the front door!

I agree that things such as bait'n'switch, short timing etc are not good customer service but we really have no cause to complain if we don't raise the issue at the time it occurs. Similarly it is no use complaining to the owner if we haven't first mentioned it to the ML at the time. Most of these girls are from another country/culture so they sometimes think they are doing the right thing by their owner/coworkers and don't realise how it puts the customer off.

Just mention it to them in a polite manner and often it can be resolved right there and then.

I've had a couple of excellent experiences here too, going back a few months....one with a gorgeous extremely fun girl who was ex-GTM Sudoku...may have been her name....she was a heap of fun......very long and messy hair...but the messiness looked great on her.... suited her. ... and hugely vibrant personality.

If it's her first shop as owner, as I get the impression it is......how did she get all these customer mobile numbers? Was she maybe working in another shop previously and copied the received calls numbers from shop sim to her sim? I haven't been able to think of another explanation. If that is the explanation, it's revealing of Sunshine owner's character. Some people think its fine to take confidential business info from employer when they leave ..... some people think it's a low act.... and may technically be illegal. If this isn't what happened then I guess she might come on here sometime to explain how she did get so many customer mobile phone numbers. I'd be interested to know. If I was starting any new business, I would love to be able to get a list of customer mob numbers from existing businesses in the industry. It would make for a flying start to the business, instead of having to build up gradually like others do.

So anyway, the relevance to your experience today........ if that is the explanation for all you guys receiving texts advertising brand new Sunshine Day Spa last year, it wouldn't surprise me now that shop has gone downhill and you have had an experience as you did today where she seems to not give a shit. And to put it in reverse..... given the attitude shown to you today, it adds a little more weight to the suspicion of where the list of cust mob numbers came from.

Many people couldn't give a shit of course how she got the phone contacts... if they came from ex-employer or not ...or how she treats another punter like Rodgers today ........ while some people do give a shit ..... each to their own I guess :-)

So I've decided to try this shop again, and booked one of the girls via wechat.

Walked up to the door and a lovely slim girl answered and asked who I was after. When I asked for the girl I booked she had this cheeky grin and pointed at herself. Excellent start. Got led into the room, asked for the hour, and as she walked out to get my change I asked "do you want the tip now or later?" to which she flashed back the cheekiest grin and walked off.

I suppose she really wanted to make sure I wasn't a cop or something =/ but the teases during the massage were excellent. Not the best I've experienced but pretty good for Brisbane I suppose.
