I have heard a lot of similar stories (minus the gun). Wouldn't surprise me if it was a poster here based on what you see on this forum.

Now I realise I'm no barrister, but to me that defence case seems piss weak at best. lol Surely our fucked up justice system isn't that bad that it will let this guy off. Then again, it probably is.

I am guessing he will get off on lesser charges illegal possession of a firearm and/or discharging a firearm in public etc. Too hard to prove the attempted armed robbery case as it comes down to he said/she said. I agree that the circumstances sound like he is guilty but you have to wonder how she could just run off when a gun was pointed at her head.

Isnt this the same story I posted earlier this year ?? I'm thinking it finally got to trial. I think then the headline was sunshine coast armed robbery or something similar.
