old syd99 website is much better?

Is it just me or anybody else experience that the new syd99 website is worse than the old one?
It is less user-friendly, harder to use and has less information (e.g. to see whether I am logged in or not, who posted last comment etc)?

Must be just you.

It shows at the top r/h of the page whether you are logged on or not. Also "new posts" on the menu bar has all the latest comments in descending order.

Never used the old one to compare, but this one seems easy to me.

Content-wise, let's just say that the old one read and felt more like a real forum than this latest incarnation.
In my book, content is king.

The old one was too primitive to cope with the high volume of visitors, this new one is a lot more sophisticated and used by most popular forums.
