There is a girl on wechat that looked nice incall service, and we agreed to meet up. She asked me to go to a post office in Pymont. She then asked me go to to the post office and pay for a pre-paid account, she even sent me a photo of what it will be like. She keeps saying she will come after I pay at the post office since i am a first timer with her.......... In the end, I did not since I only expect cash business.

Anyone experienced this before?

Of course it's a scam.
There are so many excellent agencies and shops in Sydney, don't waste your money, time and energy on wechat, cracker etc

"There's a sucker born every minute"
It means "Many people are gullible, and we can expect this to continue."

This is a phrase related to businessman P. T. Barnum, an American showman of the mid 1800s, and his customers
The phrase is often credited to Barnum himself.
Barnum purchased Scudder's American Museum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barnum's_American_Museum), a platform to promote hoaxes and human curiosities such as the Feejee mermaid (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feejee_mermaid) and General Tom Thumb (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Tom_Thumb)

Therefore the issues of WeChat, Cracker, Backpage, etc, come up with monotonous regularity.

----------------------------------

In general, in business, when dealing with new suppliers, only pay once you see what you are paying for, and ideally pay with cash

In cases where you are being asked for prepayment, just go into "Scam the scammer" mode

1. Pretend that they are your saviours, and repeat everything that they ask you
2. Thank them profusely that they are so wonderful and helpful
3. Say you are doing everything that they ask, but do nothing that they ask
4. Fuel their greed. Have them salivating
5. Waste their time

So here we go...

I have purchased $300 worth of iTunes cards as payment, as you requested

Yes, I have the serial numbers

Yes, there are 5 different serial numbers. I have them all for you as you asked

Thank you so much for this !

Im really excited to meet Sally, Dolly (whatever)

Yes, I have purchased five iTunes cards
Hang on. Actually, these ones were the $100 cards, they only had $100 ones at the shop.
Thats ok, I really want to see Sally, Dolly (whatever). I dont mind.
You can have all 5, since you are so helpful !

Is Sally, Dolly nice ? Does she have nice hair ?

Ok, sorry. The serial number for the first one is 049494939393

(Wait 15 minutes)

Sorry, the serial number is 049494939392. Let me look at the four other iTunes cards. They are so expensive !

(Wait 15 minutes)

I purchased one more iTunes card, just to be sure
I really need to see Sally, Dolly (whatever) today !

Oh, sorry !
I just realised, you want me to send a picture of the iTunes cards
Hang on, do you want me send them now through WeChat ?

(Wait 10 minutes)

Sure, I am sending them now

(Send a photo of something, including an old iTunes card, or just a blank photo)

(Wait 5 minutes)

Did you get that ?
Oh, sorry, let me send it again now

Oh, you want me to send the photo of the serial numbers. But I have five new cards !
You want them all ?

(Wait 20 minutes)

You: Wait, I have a better idea, let me give you my credit card numbers, I have two credit cards..
Let me get them, they are in the other room ! You are so helpful !

(Wait 20 minutes)

You: My first credit card number is 123456789. Oh, hang on, let me get my glasses

etc etc

All the while, you are going about your daily activities
Obviously you can do abbreviated versions of "Scam the Scammer"
But waste their time, really magnify their greed, let them anticipate a big big payday today, keep them waiting, and let them drown in their greed
