OK, so I'm in between jobs now and have been surfing wechat for private escorts and escort agencies in and around Sydney. And I'm telling you there is a lot of sex for sale on wechat!

I ask for photos or surf the albums and ask "Are your photos real? Is that you?" and they all reply "Yes, 100% real".

The I download a few photos, do a reverse image search with Google and find the real photos unmasked or uncropped on hundreds of other websites. Yeah I know, big surprise... It's amazing how Google can find the original photo or other clones - even if the photo has been scaled, cropped, rotated, colour manipulated or drawn on.

Then I reply the girl and attach a few of the photos I founds and ask "Are you still claiming your photos are 100% real?"

Then the conversation stops or they get angry!

I mean, how dumb are these girls? Have they no idea how easy it is to spot?

If I ran an escort website I would incorporate a look up service to Google image search every time a user uploaded a photo. And if the photo was found on a large number of websites the profile would have the words :"Look a like photos" written on it. As a consumer we have a right to know.

Speaking of scams

I saw on A Current Affair this week, the latest scam is people from India ringing elderly Australians, (obviously calls from overseas to elderly in Australia)
These cold callers, are stating they are from the ATO (Australian Tax Office) and demanding victims pay money immediately
Some younger man recorded the calls for A Current Affair:

Something like:
"This is Mr John Matthews from the Australian Tax Office
You have been undercharged $1500 tax
You must repay this amount, or we will contact the local police department"

Next call
"Ok, we are calling the local police department, and your record now states you are in tax default
We will be bringing you into police custody within the hour"

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT !

Seriously, warn your elderly family relatives. Low scum indeed.
Apparently they are being successful with elderly victims, who trust everything they are told over the phone
