This actually happened a few years back, without any problems.

I believe AE did it regularly and I've seen posts on PP about it as well.

I believe the AE and PP drinks nights were also attended by some of the WLs but then those other forums seem to have a much higher degree of involvement of them on the forums.

Some will go and enjoy it, others won't go no matter what. There is no real reason not to try and see how it goes.

PP seems to be a different sort of crowd than here. Here (Brisbane forum) tends to focus more on the RnT market where PP deals with all aspects of the industry with probably a more major focus on WLs and involvement from WLs. As already mentioned punters share more on PP and you will see a lot of WLs interacting, especially on the chat forum.

Personally I feel that PP having WL involvement, better members overall and more focus on the legal side of the industry makes it a more conducive for punter meetings to go well.

I don't disagree with you, just pointing out that other "Punter" related forums seem to have successfully done social meet-ups and fairly regularly.

It is true that this seems to be the forum that has the largest focus on the RNT and Asian Massage Shops which are not necessarily operating on the right side of the blue line.

oh and AE was a advertising and forum site called Australian Escorts that from memory was closed down about 2 years ago.
