I would imagine so. No different to any large business.

I'd say They are rich, yes, but not 'filthy rich'. And provided you're good.

I'm not exactly sure of the finances, but well, I'm thinking let's take the example of a standard rnt.

Basically, the girls get the $50 tip, so that leaves the money for the massage only (say $40/30 mins, $70/ hour) so meaning the owner is basically like a legit massage shop owner - but would have a lot more customers! Plus, I'm sure the girls get a base pay for the massage.

SMH prick estimated cTHM turnover as up to $2 million. Half of that money you could say was the girls tips. (Bare in mind cTHM was a very popular shop.

Leaves $1 million turnover. Minus overheads. Now, how much the overheads are, I have no idea!

Plus, owner may have multiple shops!

She's doing alright!

The thing is that it's about supply and demand. Is there anything else men want as much as sex?

Of course, there's a lot of factors involved with how much money you will make eg
- Quality and age of girls
-Quality of service
- Other facilities eg showers, saunas
- Location eg punter rich
- appropriate pricing
Etc

Come to think it, very few places actually go broke. Only if it's really crap.

One owner told me a particular shop of his didn't make money. It was an average sort of rnt located in an area with many other rnt shops around it, some quite good.

But I don't know as I've never talked to an owner in detail. I'm just guessing here!

The smart ones would be doing very well for themselves.

I know a few Chinese owners who are problem gamblers and lose most of the shop takings in the casino most nights. I don't even know why they bother running the shop.

Easy come, easy go. A lot of money laundering happens at the casino too

Depends... older established venues which probably own the land wouldn't have many expenses. Stilettos sold for 17 million about a year ago

They're laundering it. Casino gets their cut and they get the money on the books. These are mainly cash businesses and there's no way any of them are reporting their full earnings.

I wonder how much some of these smaller shops have to pay in "protection money"?
