This is a combined question/suggestion for older members of the forum, shop owners and the forum owners:

Why don't the shop owners put pertinent information in their profiles?

It would make life MUCH easier for the customers and the owners if they had basic info such as rates, contact details, opening hours and their website (if it exists) listed plainly and simply in their profile.

Better for customers as it is easy to find and we don't have to either search google or hope that an ad for the shop we want happens to appear. Also better for us in the myriad of posts that "forget" to post how much the session cost, in this case, we just refer back to the shop's profile!

Better for the owners because they have a single spot on the forum where they can update info if it changes, rather than multiple threads.

Of course there may be a reason why this doesn't happen, or isn't encouraged, in which case I would be interested to hear it :)

Just a thought.

Edit: Just did a more thorough check and have found many shops (usually the one's I am not interested in :( ) that do this, but maybe admin could "encourage" all shops to do it?

Very good point, it's better to list all those informations you have suggested in their signature rather than their profile as only limited spaces are available vs you can put a lot more infos at the signature .

And the number of shops in the Roster section who.

Only list names - no descriptions/ photos

Have information all over the place, making it near impossible to work out who is working...

Somewhat unsurprisingly, the best at the rosters are often the best shops
Top marks in this category for
Ginza
533
Diva/Posh/Irene chain(s)
227

The SYD99.com link above gives shops a standardised searchable website template, but seems many don't want to use it or keep it up to date.

Anything to stop shops like Paddington244 from constantly bumping threads in the AR section is worth a try.....fk it's frustrating
