Will punting history cause me to be denied new job?

I took a STD test & I admitted to DOC I had paid for sex while the DOC
was taking my sexual history. But at the same time I am going through a
background check for a new job. I am afraid that they might dig up my medical
records & find out I paid for sex & deny me the job or use it as a excuse to paint
me as a bad character later if I have a dispute with the job later & fire me . Am
I being neurotic or do I have nothing to worry about. As the new job would be
big advancement career wise for me.

And I am not sure how they can access ur medical records unless it's a job that requires blood to blood contact??

Nothing to be ashamed of and even if they somehow found out you paid for sex.. say who cares? It's not something to be advertised but nothing to be defensive about either. It's a service like any other.

I wouldn't worry. As far as I am aware, the doc cannot disclose this information to anyone but instead confirm or deny the suitability of you taking that position.

as far as I'm aware the hippocratic oath is still fundamental to western medicine. So unless disclosing a patient's medical history will benefit the patient without a doubt then that's the only chance your medical history will be disclosed.

Your employer can not access your personal clinical records if you do not give them consent.

The only time consent is given, or required , is when you have a workers comp claim or something of that ilk.

In that case it may be a good thing. If your sexual activities decreased after an accident, it shows real injury ! :)

So all in all, relax! You can always nominate another GP if you have a workers comp claim.

I know I am very stupid & should just ignore CL relentless personal
taunts. But is Big Guy ( CL 5000 p) vs CF ( -100p ). Big supermarket
