Had a laugh when I read some of the comments about this article, like this

The sole reason for the brothels closing and this applies across Australia is the massive influx of Chinese/Korean/Thai 'students' working in massage shops offering much more than a massage. They can make thousands of dollars per week unregulated, unchecked. You can sit there as say 'oh well dirty men, serves them right if they get a disease' but the reality is men of all ages and demographics visit these unlicensed brothels putting themselves at risk. The government needs to clean up the 'massage' industry and actually enforce the law.


I have no idea how whorehouses are fairing these days, last time I was in one was in 1984, it was on Kelvin Grove road just up from Rumplestiltskins, a little weatherboard house with a red light out the front. Never really got into whorehouses always thought they were a little too predictable and boring.

Maybe there is a downturn in the trade of these places but It would be because of many factors not just RnT shops. I have noticed in recent times the brothel at crestmead in Logan places regular ads on there
