This is another example of click bait.

If one googles the opposite hypothesis, one will be found with a lot of articles to the contrary.

In any event , unless one lasers or waxes, there is always sub dermal residual hair which could protect the skin and pores. That article is flawed.

Exactly. And even in the article the doctors who've done the study note that, while that never gets to the headline :)
