Curious whether anyone has ever got carded on entry into a brothel. I know people who look young (or even those that don't look that young) sometimes get asked for ID when they enter bars or casinos. But getting carded on entry into a brothel is kind of inappropriate I guess since people generally don't want to reveal their identity at these places? So my guess is no one ever gets carded.

Never! I don't recall any places having bouncers or security guards asking for ID.

Never have at brothels but pretty regularly get id'd at hotels/pubs.

Theoretically it would be covered under the laws that are similar to the laws for alcohol, cigs & gambling, but Woolworths don't run brothels so the Police aren't as interested in crack downs on brothels checking for ID as they are interesting in protecting the big two by shutting down & fining as many independent pubs & shops as they can.

I actually started when I was 16, the lady at the time didn't even ask for ID (she was a private worker in a hotel). I guess she needed the $$$. Since then, no brothel has asked me to show I.D.

once going to a casino my dad who's in his 50's got carded.
