I don't know where she's gone, but I'm reasonably confident that she is still around, just at another shop.

When she disappeared, the 5 Star guy on the forum said "Wendy worst KPS ever". This suggests that Wendy won't return to 5 Star, as the guy wouldn't be silly enough make such a statement if she was coming back. The only reason he would say this is because she went to a competitor. If she left the industry, he would likely wish her all the best without all this negative talk.

I saw Wendy quite a few times earlier this year so I know her personality.

She probably don't like people giving her DATY directly followed by DFK + punters asking for CIM and DD also will piss her off.

My experiences were very good with her. Not Fay level service but still very good.
