I think his political career is also heading towards a very dark and unhappy ending !!

Few interesting points though:

1. He is 36 and a bachelor, a player ? Or a gay player ?

2. It's a public funded trip but he paid for the $500 a night 5 Star hotel in Time Square himself ! So who is he trying to impressed ! A private massage escort ?

3. The outcall massage was booked on line @$100/hr and was pre paid .

4. Did he ordered a female massage girl and two guys turned up or did he ordered a male massage in the first place?

5. Unless he actually ordered a massage by a guy, otherwise, why would he let them into the room. Pretty sure a 5 Star hotel room would have spy hole or safety chain measures for security.

He would have a lot to explain when he back home. Only saving grace is that he is single .

Thoughts ?

saving grace was that he was up front about it, and filed police report. i dont have an issue with what he does with his money during his spare time (long as he not expense the massage back as work related)
I think the issue now is why he was over there in the 1st place?

The way I read it is that it was definitely meant to be more than just a massage, things only started to go wrong because they wanted $1000 for it. Had they said $200 only, session still goes ahead?
Why doesn't he say which web site? I'd say because if would make it obvious what he was up to, not that he was doing something wrong but just not what a politician should be caught doing. Say goodbye to political career.
By the way, definitely was looking for man to man action.
Remember a few years back the nsw MP got exposed by channel 7 for visiting the male sauna at Kensington? He was a married guy with kids...ouch!

Yes you are right, the police report did mention that he arranged to have a male come to his room for a massage !

Pretty sure for a hotel like the Inter-Continental, they would have very tight hotel security like restricted lift access. So if he didn't go down to the lobby to let them up, he would have left words at reception or the concierge that he is expecting someone so the hotel staff will let the visitor use the lift.

You sometimes wonder what some of these politicians and councillors do when they take public funded trips overseas. Some time ago, i recall reading about a councillor visiting countries like Monaco and France to check on their sewerage systems. Seriously??? What a joke!
