I avoid my own suburb though, not that I have any desire to sample the delights of 235 Parramatta Rd anyway.

It would be very naive to think that 533 is the only shop around where you may get what bro 6sixty9nine tactfully pointed out. I have heard plenty of stories about many shops in Sydney and from credible sources.

I would be surprised if the bulk of customers at 533 come from this forum as well. 533 has been there as long as i can remember. A lot of the regs probably don't know this forum exists! The 'stories from credible sources' you mention would most certainly be true (including the monkey's riding unicycles), and I don't even know who your sources are.
