Tbh, what they meant is that there is nothing to do in Sydney or any other Aus cities at night apart from clubbing or drinking only. In other Asian countries, shopping malls and shops closes at 10-11pm, and there's still other shops and cafes that open way beyond midnight. Many Asian WLs have complained to me before how boring is it that drinking is literally the only entertainment available, with them deciding against staying here any longer apart from making money from this job
