If someone only earns $50k per annum, I doubt if he can afford to punt at all ! ;) ;) ;)

Unless he’s a young kid living at parents’ house.

Lucky you ! You may have to wait until 2024 to get some decent tax cut.

But wait, if you earn more than $200K then you will get nothing, but with those sort of income you probably don’t need it ?

Personally I think punting should be tax deductable or there should be a rebate on health grounds. Thing is, would anyone be brave enough to admit that to the ATO? Ginza would need to start issuing receipts!

Some of us punt so much the ATO would probably want to run an audit.

Yesterdays Australian Federal budget aims to give everyone earning $50000 per annum, $530 back in a very modest annual tax cut

Question:
Not much money, but with the extra $530 per year, got any plans for that extra cash?
The governmnet has plans for it: the cost of services will increase by more than that. So you might have to cut back on punting.
