Not sure if this idea has been suggested before and was just curious. Are there any brothers here that are interested in organising a group visit to Club 278 for the early bird and group discount?

Or is this just a bad idea in general?

Not a good idea mate , as you never know who is gonna to turn up. Unless you are not from Sydney and has no family , no friends, no work mates and no business associates that you could potentially run into ??

Nah I'm just pretty confident I won't run into anyone I'll be familiar with so that's why I suggested it. But I guess should also be for safety reason.

I've often thought, if you do happen to run in to someone you know, doesn't that just mean you both share a secret that the two people could bond over? Unless of course it's your significant others family, or worse, your significant other in the line up!

I've met some absolute fucking legends through punting. I regularly punt with a mate i met in the reception area of my local and he's turned out to be a fucking champion. Punting with a mate/wing man is a bloody good laugh too. Pre-punt darts/beers/cones, head to the chosen shop, off we go to seperate rooms, do the deed, then reconvene for a debrief and a shit talk afterwards.

Ditto I've met some top blokes on here too. Blokes who initially started off as just forum buddies, but who've really come through as top mates when the shit hits the fan.

I hear people say they punt and at the end of the day have nothing to show for it but memories. The way I look at it, I've got memories AND some rad snakes I reckon I'll be mates with after I quit the game.

I have been to RnT punting with one other senior member here who in turn introduced me to another member who is no longer active and I know they have met others as well.

Yeah, did a few outing and dinner stuff with a few of my older mamasan friends and that was fun, those were the days !
