I have been asked by 1 of my massage lady's what is involved in getting HICAPS up and running ie: certification ,qualifications,ect can any body please shed some light on this if the know much appreciated in advance Thank you.

Minimum requirement is a Diploma in Remedial Massage. You then need to be a member of one of the massage associations.. There are a few.

Need first aid cert and insurance. The association can provide the insurance.. It's not too much.

You then need to register with hicaps, who will request all that information. If you want a machine to claim on the spot, you can get it through NAB.. Perhaps others as well but Hicaps is owned by NAB.

I think that was it. There are a couple of health funds, like Medibank, who have higher qualification requirements so you can't provide rebates if the client is with them.
