This has been bothering me for a while
I have introduced a few friends from work to punting. Im in the service industry, and a few of my friends are high placed managers. One friend is possibly going to be the public face of the company, as the main sales representative

The point is, I have read more than a few examples now where shops in the sex industry are identifying customers, to the media
The latest example is a sex establishment that told the media about one of its customers.

Im not commenting on that specific case any further so not to get in trouble, but its in all the newspapers this week

My question is, do these shops respect our confidentiality. Is my friend, in a prominent public position, ever likely to be dobbed in to the media by a brothel or massage parlour manager? Can he feel safe visiting a brothel, given his work in the public eye

Why do you think the shops know who you are ? Are you a celebrity ?

No shop would bother to find out who you really are unless you’re an ultra unwelcomed customer !

You dont understand. The shop does not need to find out who he is. He shows up on television interviews, with his name shown during the interviews

What don’t I understand ?

I already asked if you’re a celebrity !

If he’s a celebrity, he must be very dumb to just go to brothels for punting, he’d better made better arrangements if he wants to see girls, even so it won’t be a secret forever if he’s someone important.

Shops have no interest in finding out who you are, but girls can gossip as the women’s right ! ;) ;) ;)

Short answer is yes.

I am quite confident that any shop is required to protect their clients anonymity, as much as you are required to protect the girls you have seen and their identity, hence the fake names. I guarantee you that "Mercedes" has a far more boring name IRL 😉

As a side note I never give my actual name to WL/ML if they ask, which I have been quite a bit.

It cuts both ways, and goes right back to my statements about the only trouble being caused at shops is by YOU the punter. If you happen to fall for the girl and start stalking them for example.

In your particular example, yes the guy is high profile.... but also in politics. We all know how disgusting that arena is. Whatever it takes to elevate yourself and put others down. Now the guy PROBABLY was at this Ponytails bar (sounds like a poof bar to me personally lol) and the "bargender" (haha, article writer doesnt even spell check, thats how "credible" the source is) simply says he spends big. On what?

You can guess given the nature of the bar but that means jack shit. Watching girls barely dressed dance means nothing. I open youtube and watch any Black rapper to get the same experience.

As for your friend, I have very high doubts he'll walk the streets and suddenly have his favourite ML/WL fangirling him out of nowhere. "Hey mister, I saw you on TV, did you enjoy the large wave enema pup you got from me the other day"

Ive seen a WL once on the street, we saw, we recognised, we had a brief smile and moved on.

You know what celebrity means ?

If he’s well known, he’s a celebrity ! If he’s not well known, what does he have to worry about, who cares if he punts or not !

Politicians using government funded travelling to do some punting on the side , that’s nothing new , and in this case, Minister of Manila ! Well, stupid idiot I’ll say and when you abuse the system long enough, you gonna get caught ! He deserved all the consequences of the matter. And if his electorates will vote for him again, then good luck to them .

Don’t feel any bit of sympathy for the dude, he was spending our hard earn tax money for his personal pleasures! And he probably will retire on a full parliamentary pension which you and I and our children will be paying for !

Remember that other dude whom I can’t remember his name , a union boss too ? Using his union or government credit card to pay for escort services - absolute ASS !

And for the OP’s friend , if he has a high profile job of gonna appear in media, then he probably shouldn’t punt openly in brothels, there are thing called private escorts.

There's no confidentiality. The shop is there to make money. If the media approaches them and gives them some money for information, the shop would absolutely take the money.

The shop would tell them anything for $$$. There is no confidentiality.

I see they uncovered a photo ID that showed his current wife had been a bar girl he met there. He is the classic overweight middle class white guy that is a way out of poverty for her. I feel sorry for her now for the judgementalism at party room social occasions she'll face.
