The government and the media are stating that this virus pandemic is leading to a rise in domestic violence in the community. The government has thrown in an extra $150 million for domestic violence. One wonders why? It can be attributed to financial issues such as loss of employment. Another point is being stuck with your partner for 24/7 now is causing some people to be uncomfortable with the idea. They were going to work and not seeing each other for most of the day. It's not possible now. Without this virus and self isolation, some people could go and see a WL or ML and then return home as if nothing had occurred and feel much better.

Many people don't know what to do when in self isolation. Some people will be bored and will start to argue. This will expose people to violence whether they be male or female. This is why punting can help relationships stay together.

Did you see the news, just as they were going into lockdown. There were long queues at the local liquor store, buying trollies full worth. Queues were longer than the supermarkets. Some ppl can go without food, but not without their alcohol... And ppl wonder why our domestic violence during quarantine time goes up [emoji6]

It will be very challenging for everyone if we go into a full lockdown

Even the upcoming kids school holidays will be challenging as they can’t mix with their friends and nothing like cinemas, restaurants, play centres, playgrounds, sports facilities, leisure centres etc are open so they will have nothing to do at all.

I agree, sex and happy ending (RnT) is a great leveler or outlet for releases of stress and lots of other problems mentally and emotionally for everyday men on the street !

Worst to come if this things couldn’t get over sooner rather than later.

While the Australian government is spearheading a program against domestic violence, is there a similar program in China?

Heh ? Why we bothered about how couples fair in far flung China. They can't even step out their door for a jog.

Here ppl are complaining it's inhumane they can't get out to use the facilities of the 5 star hotel that taxpayers are paying for them [emoji848]

Many whingers out there! They should be grateful their all expenses (food and accommodation) in 5 star hotels is being paid for by the taxpayer. Two thirds of infected cases have come from overseas travellers and this is why they need to be isolated if we are to overcome this virus together.
