Seriously I went to Juliets in Burwood and there was like 10 girls in the lineup, all out of shape. I walked, can't believe I walked from a lineup of 10 girls! Pretty much the same observations at Midas.

One thing unique about these Korean shops is they have party rooms, where guys come in groups and drink and socialise with the girls, they also stay open till like 6am! So these girls are drinking alcohol all shift and staying up till sunrise. There is zero chance of staying in shape doing this. Even if you meet a girl in great shape, in about 6 months to a year of her doing this gig she will have lost the weight battle and you can't really blame her.

Actually I have noticed this trend even before Covid. You can't really drink alcohol on a daily basis and easily maintain body fat % even if you go to gym. There is simply too much empty calories in alcohol to out-train it.

It is all the sugar that turns into alcohol in the process. It might be converted from sugar, but the alcohol keeps ALL the sugar's energy.

And energy = fat.

Keep in mind these are females, their daily calorie requirements might be around 1300-1800. It's easy to consume 600 calories worth of alcohol and that's almost half their daily calorie allowance to maintain weight. So you offset your weight gain by dieting, to bring your calorie count into a deficit. What will happen is they will lose fat and lean muscle because they won't get enough protein to maintain the muscle during the deficit. Once you lose lean muscle its game over, because muscle burns calories.

So the outcome is you either get fat or skinny fat, where you are slim but you have no muscle composition. Basically its not possible to drink alcohol on a daily basis and achieve a good body, which should be their primary goal if they want to earn money in this industry.

This is such a contrast to Korea, in Korea the girls working at sex shops are all skinny and pretty and thats considered normal there.

One of my friends went on a business trip there and the company arranged a “friend” for him - basically it was a stayover escort at his hotel, and from the moment she came in the door to the moment she left his hotel, the policy was she had to be naked the whole time!
