Anybody using T Gel or testosterone injections
I’ve lost a step in the sack recently and looking at ways to recapture it
D Aspartic Acid and Zinc seem to be the natural alternatives

Wow that was a little vicious. Kind of reminds me of this time I went to get a script of blue magic from a lady doctor. She ended up refusing while giving me a lecture on the lifestyle changes, etc, that should address the underlying issue. While I appreciated all of that, I guess I did have somewhat more immediate concerns and would have appreciated an immediate remedy while I also worked on the long term changes.

Anyway, I would be happy to know about T boosters, too.

How do you even know your testosterone has dropped? Did you do a blood test?
It could be many other things causing problems.

One thing I've noticed about people that lack testosterone is that they often display behaviours related to insecurity. They behave like internet trolls, they talk shit about almost anyone behind their backs and they're often two faced.

There is no evidence low testosterone cause this. I do that shit all the time and my testosterone is normal to high in tests. I dont exercise or gym, eat bad diet.

Clarification....
I've been lifting weights for over 40yrs
I weigh 90kgs on a 186cm frame...
It's not about lifestyle diet etc as suggested
Testosterone decline is part of the aging process....I get that
Doesn't hurt to discuss a "top up" or assistance
Anyway I have my yearly medical soon....I'll have a chat with the Doc

the test patches arent as good obviously as jabbing it in with needles, but get it anyway its good for you... if you can stomach jabbing a needle in daily get that instead... if not, stick a few patches on at once and in few days you'll cum like the thunder

So without being too nosy, is the issue we are having with low testosterone the sense that we don't get turned on as much as we once did (perhaps because we enjoy company a little too often)?

Train legs with heavy resistance, big compound movements like squats and deadlifts does interesting things to your hormones. A lot of people go to gym and do isolation movements and think they are lifting weights, isolation movements should be finishers for your compound movements.

Neither Calisthenics nor cardio is going to boost your testosterone like compound leg movements. Legs are the largest muscles in the body and cardio isn't going to increase muscle mass. Now I'm not saying you shouldn't do these things, I do them, but for the sake of this discussion squats and deadlifts is king.

Does it work straight away the first jab or does it take multiple jabs to start feeling some sort of difference?

I think it takes some time to have any affect on your body just go ask the GP they will explain all and give you it pretty much immediately after the test results

The problem with taking some kind of testosterone supplement in the long term is that your body will start producing less naturally. Guys that take steroids eventually can't produce their own tess and then they have to stay on peds.

I second this. D Aspartic is good, just cycle it, 3-4 weeks on then a few weeks off

I'm no physician, but I know that many 'lifters' do behave like metrosexual men. Putting on aloe vera masks at night, spends a lot of time in front of the computer doing pointless stuff and behaving like alpha males without actually becoming an alpha male.

I'm not that young or too old, I've gone past my 30s and all I can say is that my lifestyle had actually contributed to my sex drive. I don't cum multiple times like a teenager but I can still cum twice in an hour provided a hot chick was stroking me really sensually.

Let's see what I do on average:

Eat less meat
Eat more fish & vegetables
Eat more wholegrains + beans + legumes
Cardio + strength training (calisthenics only, no lifting) daily for 30min - 1hr
Drink more broths
Breathe deeply during exercises

And although it wasn't a 40 year practice, 5 years is enough for me to believe in what I'm doing. Before that I'd have ejaculation problems (very little volume) and can't even get erect second time in an hour.

May or may not work for any of you, therefore I'd like to see an AR for those who are on supplements/patches.

So far you've been disingenuous and presumptuous
Testosterone begins to decline In your 40s
So despite your best efforts as you've explained you may lose a step when you hit late 60s
Using T Gel to supplement declining testosterone is not likely to make your body stop making the hormone. It's already heading in that direction anyway
Further when I started " lifting" the term metrosexual hadn't been invented. I started lifting to help in my other sporting endeavours.Which it did
Lifting and living a healthy life became a good habit
Despite all that age is taking its course and I've lost a step in the sack.
Hence my enquiry
A lot of working girls will tell you that most men in their 60s enjoy the company of a naked young lady but are unable to do much physically
I'm not there yet.... but I guess it's inevitable
When no lifting and no sex becomes a reality I'll be devastated

I think it is more to do with confidence and attitude, of course exercise and diet are important . If you worry about ED it will get worse, become a self fulfilling prophesy. We are subjected to Internet porn where guys can fuck for hours at the drop of a pair of frilly panties, they maintain a rock hard erection for a week, their cocks are all 12 inches when slack, if ever they do get slack. That is not real, the average cock size is around 6 inches, thus some must be smaller, some larger. Sometimes we drink too much or are too tired and don't feel inclined, sometimes we get stressed and can't do it, this is normal. Maybe testosterone is a miracle cure but my research doesn't show that.

It is normal to reduce one's sexual activity with age, thank God I don't have to jack off 10 times a day like I did when I was a kid. I don't have to run to the dunny and jack off at work, I don't get a hard from the vibrations in the bus. Obviously you look back on those days with a degree of fondness but feeling horny all the time has its downside. Now if I get sex 2 or 3 times a week I can enjoy a session for 1 or 2 hours, or a shorter session. I can enjoy the feelings and the intimacy without having to desperately get it in and cum in a few minutes, girls seem to enjoy the relax and enjoy method rather than the fuck any hole in a hurry approach.

I am nearly 70, I am now able to relax and enjoy, thanks God or whoever. I have a good diet, I do yoga and martial arts.

Please raise a glass to raising the Kundalini😁

Agreed. I like Calisthenics and believe it the type of exercises that suits me the best. I don't like going to gyms for many different reasons. But I can't replace deadlift and squat. Deadlift and squat are truly the king to not just build mass but also boost the natural hormone. I ended up buying a set of barbells and squat stands at home.

There are articles that link why men feel horny after a workout. I believe this to be true because I feel I need sex after.
