Phantom double booking

This is what I call the "Phantom double booking". It goes like this:
You make a booking for a girl at, say, 3pm. You rock up to the shop 5 mins before time (being a conscientious punter not wanting to waste the girls' time) and the keeper tells you she's going to be 10 mins late.
That's OK, so you go wait in the waiting room or sometimes even the actual room.
10 minutes pass... No girl... Another 10... Still no girl... More than 30 mins in total have passed, girl walks in short of breath and clearly fresh from a previous session.
Congratulations, you have just been the sucker victim of the "Phantom double booking"! The shop has double booked the girl, lied to you about it and used up XXX mins of your time because they didn't want to risk losing your business.
From my experience, almost all shops do this and is one of the reasons I sometimes prefer the higher priced escort outfits (MOC, etc).
Anyone else had this experience? Really sucks being the victim, what a farking waste of time!!

It’s frustrating but it’s just the nature of this business for both the shop and us punters. The reality is it’s not like making a booking at a restaurant where you are almost always guaranteed your table at the booked time. Both the shop and the girl want to take every opportunity to make $$$ with walkins pushed into small windows of opportunity, Extensions, late starts and overtime are always going to happen till the end of time. Sometimes bookings work and sometimes not. I get disappointed when it happens to me but I’ve also learnt to get the fuck over it real quick too IF I decide to stay and wait. It’s just that mental fuck fight going on in your head, is that my booking next door I can hear moaning as if she’s enjoying the greatest orgasm of her life. The only way I can avoid this is When possible depending on the shop location and where I am, I ring and ask who’s free now I’ll be there in 10 mins, hoping my chosen girl maybe 1 of them free and try to avoid the wait scenario. If she’s not then I hope girl 2 or 3 is free. There’s always a next time and another shop or girl. Even the best run shops cannot and will not ever avoid the ‘phantom double booking’. It’s just part of punting and comes as part of the game.

Yea that always sucks but on the same note there are tonnes of punters who book and never show up. It wastes the shop and girls time to earn money from potential walk ins. There's two sides to the same coin and obviously you're one of the better punters who actually show up early. I mean didn't we read somewhere that airlines also overbook planes by 10% knowing 10 % of passengers won't turn up. Its a method of maximising profits while I guess also keeping the prices lower as they're getting more economies of scale.

Happen to me several times too at FS joint. For RNT, at broadway usually they will ask you to come 10-15 minutes later to avoid this problem.

It happens quite often. I am quite flexible as long as the shops message me as early as possible if they expect delay to my session.

And yes I do hate when the staff lie to me with bullshit like 10mins late but ends up waiting 45mins, or say no room available at an obviously quiet night.

Depending on how busy they are on the day and they always try to pack as many customers in as possible. Some shop will even negotiate with you to reduce your time, so they can pack more customers in for the ML/WL.

I mean didn't we read somewhere that airlines also overbook planes by 10% knowing 10 % of passengers won't turn up. Its a method of maximising profits while I guess also keeping the prices lower as they're getting more economies of scale.

But don't forget that airline seats are pre-paid, so the airline doesn't lose if you don't turn up. In fact, they probably hope you don't turn up so they can re-sell that seat. I remember in years past, you could book "stand by" tickets, where you had to wait at the airport to see if there were any last minute cancellations or no-shows to get on a flight.

Some restaurants now require a deposit, or credit card details, when you make a booking and charge you if you don't turn up.

I've had the same bullshit with a WL, literally kept saying the door was broken and couldn't get in for 15 minutes. I said I was leaving and it was magically fixed.

I know that some clinics with massage therapy, they can charge you for canceling. Its basically because they've allocated that hour for you and if you cancel in less than 24 hrs they can charge you a certain amount or all of it. It's like Conditions of the massage. Unsure if these massage parlours do that.

Amen. I think everyone should adopt this principle so that we don't get screwed around. The more we wait the more common the practice will be.

I wouldn't place too much trust on higher price agencies like moc though, OP. They also screwed me afew times. Once I booked about 6 hrs before booking time and double confirm 2 hrs again. But less than an hr from booking they suddenly said she isn't available cuz the customer extended for overnight. They said they can't do anything about it as customer would not let her leave lol. I was pissed as I had prepared for this early, even book a hotel room and had to rearrange my schedule then they do this to me.

Another time i made booking early again but within half hr from booking time they suddenly said she will be abit late and gave a reason the receptionist made an error with the times. Then ten mins later said she is going to even more late like an hr late at least. But i had other stuff to do and had to cancel. Not sure if the reason was valid or just an excuse and the real reason as I suspect is probably another booking or extension.

Anyway, just want to say higher price agencies ain't immune to this. I guess the only way to prevent this is being a VIP and top triple diamond class customer of the shop or something as they won't dare to offend you lol.

I'm the same. If I get mucked around for more than 10mins. I'm leaving. Ain't got time for that shit.

I've had a lot of issues with private WLs being sloppy with their bookings/organisation this year in particular. Not sure why that is. Maybe my bad luck.

Sucks if you have already handed money over though. I've personally never been in that situation. Almost always, the shop says the girl is running late. I ask how long. If it's 10min+ I just leave.

My biggest pet peeve is when a shop won't even let you see a line up without handing over the full payment first *cough* Wynyard Blossom *cough*.

In both of those examples you mentioned, the agency actually informed you that the plan had fallen through. Yes you did lose the hotel booking, but most importantly your time was not wasted.

The scenario I am after is where there was clearly a double-booking that happened and the shop has clearly decided not to be honest about it and lied to you. In the process, you are left there not knowing when she will turn up. The end result is the shop/girl gets to slot in more time at the expense of your time and schedule. You end up spending more time there than you planned, which could potentially get you into trouble.
Heck I actually got a parking fine before because of this shit. That's just one example of how bad this practice is on the victim.

I hate it when that happens. When you see the girl out of breath and slightly wet hair, you know she has rushed out of the shower to see you. God I hate it when shops do that.

From my experience, you know the session is most likely to be crap because the girl had sex less than 30 minutes before your booking started. Yeah, I agree with the OP.

Happened to me twice. The first time I turned up 10-15 mins early and was informed 20mins later it would be another hour WTF. The second time I rang before my schedule time that I am 5-10mins late. When I got there I was told that the girl was with another punter for the next hour. So pissed off.

Ive also experienced this twice before. Very frustrating when on a limited timeline. It was the same shop, so i dont go there anymore. Plus the girl i usually booked doesnt work there anymore :(

Just booked a girl at MAC for 1 hr. Many questions up front from Angela. Mamasan just been careful since it's my first time at the shop so that's fine. Confirmed a girl and time with her at the end. Nearly time so I jump on the train and arrive few minutes early. She got me to sit for 10 mins, then come to the room and say girl is now working 2 hours later. Wtf. I enquire another girl who had been walking around the floor for a while and she said girl is booked too. She offered another, in my view, less appealing girl which I wasn't interested in. I left empty handed at the end. really not impress tbh.

I've been to MAC once and Angela drove me crazy with an insane amount of messages. Not sure I can so it again however nice the girls are.
