Hi. I know you can get herpes even using a condom, however, I am trying to understand the likelihood. My thinking that if it’s likely then every frequent punter would have herpes and am not sure if that is the case?

Should try to have a look down there when you can to make sure there aren't any sores or anything...

But with a dom on, chances are low like Maestro said.

I think the OP should just stop everything and log out of the forum and never engage in any kind of sexual activity again. If he/she does there dick might fall off!!

Although you can just look at older post to find this info, I'm gonna tell you my advice. If you are very concern about STI, then don't punt. Risks of STI come along with any sexual activity, not just with ML/WL. Generally if you want to be on the safe side
1. Always use condom for blowjob and sex
2. Avoid kissing
3. Do STI check once/twice a year, also make sure that you are vaccinated for all available sexually transmitted virus vaccines
4. Do some general checkup whenever meeting WL/ML. If you think she's not feeling well, then just bail

You don't have to do all of them, you just need to know your balance for safety and fun.

Gov should introduce a Certificate course in STI identification, and make it compulsory for punters. like the licence, we can add the certi to Service NSW app. :-)

Risk is always there when you punt. Safest is to use your hands.

Hi all,

Just want to add my input.
I knew of the danger but I thought chance was low. I did get a herpes from private escort.

https://www.escortsandbabes.com.au/Profile/NSW/Rhodes/Independent/tian002/

It was about 10months ago I went to above advertisement. I knew it was fake but I got bbbj and it was condom sex. Unfortunately I got a herpes from her.

I am not saying above ad girl has a herpes as they change all the time and ad is fake anyway.

But when you get bbbj please be aware you are getting exposured to herpes and others

When you meet some one you like and it starts to get physical, how do you communicate this to them and what's their response?

If anyone here is a member of Asiansexdiary he has a tutorial on how to wash your dick after sex to avoid STI - this guy has barebacked thousands of times in PI and Thailand so I take his word for it.

Also best to take a piss after a punt (skin not retracted) to wash out any bacteria that might be lurking inside.

Well I’m lucky I guess. BBBJ all over the world. Occasional BBFS (which wasn’t my fault of course) and many many fun punts
I get regular tests. Never had a thing.
You nervous Nellys best go back to your own hands.
There’s a risk. But so is crossing the road

It's spread via skin to skin contact, not necessarily via PIV so even with a condom there's still a risk.

This is correct, and why it spreads very easy.

There are plenty of things you don't want that will transfer just by skin to skin contact. If your too scared then you should not be punting. If you punt then get tested, it's not hard.

cuteguy

Let's not forget MLs can spread it too if there is skin to skin contact such as body to body slides.

I love a good pussy slide and know there is always a risk but in 20 years I've run the gauntlet and lived to tell the STI free story.

I like to limit the risk as much as possible so no slides!

The one thing I dislike about RNT places is the fact they keep it dark in the rooms. If you want to check the girl has no STI symptoms then it's difficult to see. They will get you all naked on the table while they massage you but then when you're lying on your stomach they will undress with their backs to you and then jump onto you to do body slides (if they are willing to do it) or just sit on you and massage your back.

So it looks like sex workers working in brothels must be checked quarterly for STIs and must seek treatment before practing - but I am not sure.
https://mshc.org.au/HealthProfessional/SexualHealthNurse/ScreeningofsexworkersforSTIsandBBVPolicyProcedure/tabid/351/Default.aspx

Here's an article by Royal Perth Hospital, WA breaking down the reccomendations. It goes in depth about the risk and efficacy of condoms in relation to Herpies.
https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/pdf/10.1111/j.1467-842X.2004.tb00443.x

Seems like you're less likely to get something from a brothel than a private/independant, but it's not a gaurentee as the incidence of hsv is around the same as the wider population (1 in 8). Condoms don't help with herpies.

It won't stop me, but it is important to be fully educated in the matter.

Would you want to choose a girl with warts or even cold sores and then do BBBJ with her? I don't think so!:startle:

Sorry to hear what happen to you.

In order to reduce my exposure, I go to brothel like Ginza hoping they do their due diligence. Of course, I know that there is a risk so I would go to a doctor to get some test. Luckily, my last test was negative.

I want to ask you after contracting it, how did it affect your life and what change did you do?

Going to any particular brothel doesn't lower the risk of catching STIs. You can catch it anywhere and anytime! If a WL sees many punters in a day or a week there is a real possibility that she can catch something unlike someone who has sex with just one person. Given that punters are having sex with many girls while girls are seeing many guys who don't all get checked up regularly, STIs can spread easily in the community without it being detected immediately.

Agree.
Like I said, there is still the risk. The reputable brothel does not eliminate the risk.
Any punter must acknowledge that there is always going to be risk with STI.

In reading the article and responses, what I can’t understand is that if 1 in 8 people have herpes and condoms offer little protection then how doesn’t every punter get them via punting?

The short answer is that it's effing hard to pick up an sti. Seriously.

Also, WLs do check your junk before they do what they need to do (most of the time).

Some STIs don't exhibit symptoms. How can a girl detect a customer has an STI in such case? The only way to find out is to take a blood test or urine sample. Do you probe inside a girl's mouth and throat to see if she has any signs of a STI before she gives you BBBJ and lets you come in her mouth? I bet you don't. In the Caucasian shops, most girls do a thorough check up and most don't do BJ without condom. In Asian shops, most girls don't do a proper check of your manhood or genitals and they are willing to do BBBJ and rimming which can expose both participants to STIs and other illnesses.

Just go to your local GP. Try to get a male doctor - I've had the female ones give me sass in the past. You can be honest with exactly why you're looking to get a check. Chances are the doctor is also in the game.

Some hospitals have sexual health clinics you can book to see. Eg Liverpool sexual health clinic.
You could use this to search for a place.

For herpes, the chances of spreading/contracting it is much lower if the person is not showing symptoms. Also if an infected person is taking medications, the chance of spread is lower still.

I got herpes, its called cold sores.

Pretty much at least 50% of the global population will have it and can be asymptomatic. I don't remember when I had a cold sore or even had one ever.

I only found out when the doctor said I can find out if I have herpes by doing a blood test.

It is true that herpes is quite common. There are 2 main types of the same virus.

The most common type is the one that affects the lips/mouth HSV1. It can be transferred to the genitals, but it is unlikely for this to happen. Supposedly at least 50% of the worlds population has this virus.

The type that mainly affects the genitals is relatively uncommon HSV2. It is most commonly spread when the person has symptoms (sores). But it can also be spread while someone is asymptomatic. Most people that have either HSV1 or HSV2 are asymptomatic their whole lives.

It's always good to get tested lads. I'm amazed at how many people have never had a STI test. One of my mates back at uni, who was famous for sleeping around (probably banged about 30-40 different girls by the time he was 21, many without using a condom) did not get an STI test until he was in his 30s. Amazingly he never caught anything!

This is the problem with many young people. They are very promiscuous and have no awareness or just ignorance of the risks of catching STIs through unsafe sex practices. It appears what they were taught in schools is not getting through to them. On the other hand, there are people who believe they are lucky or in self denial that they will never catch anything. It will catch up one day if you act recklessly or play Russian roulette with BBFS.
