Fuck. That is a shock!
I had to check several trusted news sources just to make sure it’s true.
Two Aussie legends gone in 24 hours.
Marsh going was sad, but Warney fuck that’s a real shock and a real tragedy.
As a cricketer absolutely no doubt about his status as one of the greatest of all time.
As a person he could be a bit of a tool and a yob, but there was something real and genuine about him which was so refreshing in this era of so much filtered and sanitised bullshit.
I remember he was commentating the cricket once and spent half his stint totally ignoring the game and going on about how much he loves meat pies, the right temperature they should be at, how to eat them, the texture etc. Only Warney could get away with that.
RIP Warney, you’re a legend mate.
Went to Thailand, dies rooting probably, best way to go....legend. Rod Marsh deserves more accolades though.
I would have to say is that with drugs in your system and being fucked day and night..... what did you expect in Thailand. White man only goes there for one reason and one reason only, its not like you want to learn the culture and speak another language
Is it really drugs though?
Can never sleep well at night, turned on the radio and heard Shane Warne died of a heart attack. I said to myself .... NO NO NO wrong person it's Rodney Marsh. Can you believe Shane tweeted Rodney Marsh passing!!! RIP
I am like everyone else, in complete disbelief that he's gone!
It's a huge loss to everyone.
Rest in Peace, Shane Warne.
RIP.
Let the guuy be buried/burnt first, then the truth/stories of his ending will come out.
Warnie was one of the greats
He was on a mission to get back to shape. He was off alcohol and ciggies and was eating clean.

Very sad .. what a legend and will be missed ..
He packed more life into those 52 years than most people would do in 104
I'll up this info as it is now out of date....
I saw a video posted on you tube of Shane giving a great wrap to the Aussie Women's cricket team a few hours before his death, he looked very lean and healthy...RIP
Couldn’t believe it when I heard the news this morning. A great reminder to all of us to live like today could be our last day.
Warnie alienated some people but it was refreshing to have a guy like him in our cricket team. Loved a drink, smoke and a good time. Truly one of the boys. And a hell of of good cricketer.
Same with Marshie. He was my boyhood idol. His contribution both on and off the field was massive.
Two true blue Aussie legends who will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. RIP
RIP to an Aussie icon.
RIP Warnie... I remember watching his first ball in England vs Gatting:

Read the news of it at 5am on the way to a running event. Massive Shock, terrible loss
I was in disbelief. Thought it had to be fake.
RIP to a legend.
