Lots of people have started threads asking how to pick up, as there are so many variables, perhaps we should invite all the pick up gurus here to share their success stories so that all us lesser mortals can admire and learn.

However, to put things into perspective I think we should include some basic intels:

1. Venue of pick up
2. Your age range , ethnic background eg Asian, Aussie White, others
3. The girls age range and her ethnic background.

As it will be very interesting to see say a 50 year old Caucasian picking up a 20’s old Asian girl in say the Ivy?

Or a 20 something Chinese student pick up a white Milf in the casino ! No ?

Ok, I'll share my story. Slight variation to what Bro AHLUNGOR is asking about but a pickup anyway.
I'm a cauc guy in my 50s although could get away with claiming to be mid to late 40s.
Earlier this year, through boredom and a bit of loneliness I joined a Thai dating site. After I put up a few pics had heaps of women chatting to me.
Eventually I found an Aust based Thai girl. Aged in her early 30s. So we chatted on the site for a while and then exchanged ph. nos. Shared a few photos and got to the stage we were texting quite a lot each day. Might add I only gave her my punting ph no.
Arranged to meet her in Sydney one weekend. She was a really sweet attractive girl. Took her to a football game and then out to dinner.
Did I fuck her......no. She was looking for a loving relationship and I had no intention of hurting her by just using her. I actually felt like a real jerk for letting the situation get to the stage it did.
So I stopped things before it got too serious. Told her I was too old for her, our cultures were too different, and best if we moved on. I sincerely hope she finds someone special.
My main point is, I demonstrated to myself how easy it was for a cauc guy to pick up an Asian girl on a dating site.
Not something I'm particularly proud of and I got out of that site and will never return.
So now I stick to punting and know I'm not messing with anyone's feelings.

Dating site though, it’s a totally different ball games as you would started with a profile, pictures ? Which may or may not be genuine, a few texts/messages/emails ? to fish around before getting a hit/match and more exchanging or message in which certain degree of rapport and understand /or lies could be established before both parties are comfortable for the next step, meeting face to face for the first time in public places. Oh，I suppose more exchange of photos and may be even webcam before meeting ?

I think this thread and many others are talking specifically about picking up girls in public places in person , clubbing or in bars so face to face, up close and personal - no where to hire. Hence the importance of including age and ethnic background as first impression is everything in this kind of game isn’t it ? Haha....think you and I think alike Bro AHLUNGOR. Yep, dropped the Thai girl back at her apartment, then got straight on the phone to a private Thai WL that I see quite regularly on my trips to Sydney.
Turned up at her place about 1am and stayed a couple of hrs. So yeah, drained the balls and didn't feel bad about it.
Would have felt a real arsehole if I'd put the pressure on the other girl for something she wasn't ready for.

Get the point about picking up in bars/clubs etc. I never had much luck with that. Don't have the 'gift of the gab' like some guys. Guess that's what makes punting such a good option. Get to bang hot women that I would never have a chance with in real life.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but if I knew then what I know now I would have lowered my expectations. Rather than chase the hottest women that all the guys are after.....go for the next level down. I have done that a few times. Once you have swum naked there is no going back. BUT public nudity or bushwalking skinny-dipping are not arousing. They say you never see a boner in a nudist colony.
Then again you might get lucky. A Filipina I was seeing got bored with nude beach good behavior and hauled me off to a slightly quieter spot among the rocks. I must say the risk made it a great fuck.
