I got ripped off in Silver Fox, Pitt St recently. I looked on here for local RnT reviews but couldn’t find any. I chose that one cos it’s in a convenient location and wanted a change from the ones in the East where the masseuses are... underwhelming.
So in preparation for my next RnT can you provide some recommendations for your favourites & why?

Is Top Ryde 190 still open? I googled them thinking I would visit when I am next in the big smoke, but google says permanebtly closed. Although there seemed to be 3 shops named top ryde (blaxland st, church st and another)
Yep. Agree. Top Ryde, SBM and NSM would be top 3
If you are in the City, the best shop IMHO is Massage at Central or MAC as we all call it. It is busy as batshit for a reason, because it is awesome. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Another good spot is Tokio Massage in Sussex Street. Easier to get a booking when MAC is booked out.

Sorry the a noob question, but what are the differences with a licensed and non-licensed shop?
Licensed shops will openly advertise what they do, will charge you everything up front and it's usually clothes off for the whole massage, whereas non licenced will be advertising at 35/40 for half an hour and halfway through the massage you'll get a whisper in your ear asking if you want extra. Usually $50 for a nude hand job

Agree. Kings Court is not the same. Much better value out there.
KC is an anachronism, going back to the days before the emergence and popularity of cheap Asian shops. It surprises me that it has survived, but I guess it does have a niche in the market.
renwick body massage is up there for me
true, they specialise in prostate massages (if you haven't tried it, it's awesome) but even apart from that it's a great shop
