1. no method of contraception is 100% effective, including condoms e.g. slips happen
2. the pill often suppresses the period. I don't think you would want to lose several days of work each month if you can help it.

I asked my GP about this before and the answer is no pregnancy.
If you still have doubt ask your GP, dont google search because it gives a lot of wild inaccurate answers that will make you more anxious
