I remember about 20 Years ago, all the motels were showing NO Vacancy signs when I was driving thru around 1 AM, so I went hunting around for a motel towards the beach, saw a vacant sign and pulled in @ the end of the driveway, grabbed my bag and went to knock on the door.
Seems I went to the house on the wrong side of the driveway and was met by a young aussie in a teddy, in excusing myself apologising as I wanted the motel she said you can have a room here for the night for $50, so I took it.
Seems is was one of the local knock shops, wasn't bad actually, even had a spa, shower and toilet in the corner of the room. Oh the girl was cheap as well when included.
