Surprised no one has mentioned Malaysia. Pre-2019 I would regularly travel to Singapore and scoot across to KL, Malaysia for 2-3 weeks every 6 months on business trips. Perhaps I was unlucky, but my experience in Malaysia(KL) was memorable for the wrong reasons.
