I'm not saying Muslim men won't date or sleep with non-Muslims. I'm saying, if the guy turns out to be strict with the rules with Muslim women, it might turn out to be a problem for her. If a strictly adherent Muslim found out that a Muslim couple had sex out of wedlock, they may have an obligation to enforce the Islamic law. That could have consequences ranging from bad to catastrophic, depending on the circumstances.
On the other hand if a Muslim WL chose to only do it with non-Muslims, there's far less risk on them running into that sort of trouble.
