Depends some ppls think is worth for quality those a few of my friends they are local and do pay for that much for service
I just searched for the Chinese words that say "compensated dating Sydney". These all came up at the top of the list.

The first 2 I posted look like they're not too expensive. Price range $400 - $500.
I did try a few girls for those private agency yes it is exp but u get what u pay for those..... the girls are super nice and some of them are just look for short term fast $ so their turn over rate are high. They are operating like a members club some will required u to join the club and buy points for the services
once you becomes a loyal customers they do look after you very well such as discount, VIP access to new girls etc
I guess their strategy is to charing you a premium price to eliminate those unwanted customers and targeted those rich guys or rich kids.
They are operating a different style to brothel with minimum advertising much of the clients are word of mouth or hand picked
