    After New year

    Hey Punters. Planning to visit gold coast and brisbane few weeks after new year. Haven't bought the ticket yet but thinking to buy soon ( cuz it's cheap as) . However, I feel like more restrictions will be applied after New year and I might have to quarantine. What are the rules as of now to visit gold coast ? And Is there any news in town about restrictions increasing ? If I visit, I will ask suggestions about shops in next thread. Cheers.

    Would help if you tell us where you’re coming from.
    If it’s from out of state, you’ll need a PCR test 72 hrs out from entry.
    If you’re vaxxed, no need to quarantine on entry.
    But, if you catch covid, or classified as a close contact of someone who gets it, then you have to quarantine, with multiple tests done etc. it all’s freely available on Qld health website. I’d be more inclined to refer to that , than follow “news about town” on a punters forum
