I realise that although Andrew Tate is like the "most searched" person on Google, nobody actually brought him up here as a topic. Just curious what most of the forum thinks of him and his brother just before they got detained by Romanian authority.
All I know is that Andrew Tate's TikTok and Tweeter feeds are usually very misogynistic but many young guys are attracted to his "get rich" motivational videos and talks about the "matrix". He sound like he took the red pill philosophy and amped it up to become the maroon pill instead.

For me, the key point about Tate is that his money (prior to TikTok fame) was made from selling advertising services, running online casinos and running virtual assistants for webcams/onlyfans models. All his previous businesses are built around the idea of extracting the maximum amount of $$$ from the greedy, horny and gullible. There is nothing wrong with this. It's serving a market. But I'd take his "I'm here to make you better" mantras with a degree of suspicion. I'd make the assertion that he's still doing exactly that in a different way.
It's also fair to say that his incarceration reeks of government corruption. He may have been running hookers and casino operations from his home, and this may be illegal in his jurisdiction, but its quite funny the difficulty they're having in charging him with kidnapping and human trafficking when everyone (including the girls) seem to have been free to come and go, had phones/apartments and were getting paid quite well.
He was running a get rich quick scam called "Hustler's University". You pay him $50 USD a month just for him to give you information that you could get for free on Google. And when you unsubscribe he will gaslight you and say that you're missing out big time. Now the Romanian authorities are investigating on claims that he is running sex trafficking out of the country.
Can't possibly compare him to Jordan Petterson! AT is a shyster preying on insecure or lost young men while JP is trying to help that same constituency. Also JP IQ immensely higher than AT.

From what I know is that some corrupt countries will allow criminals to operate untouched as long as they share some of their proceeds with the corrupt government. He and his brother must've stepped on some toes which is why his detainment also included assets seizure even when the evidence isn't strong enough. They probably missed out on payments to whichever greedy minister they had the agreement with and threatened to expose that minister.
When I was in Russia it was kinda similar to that - pay up or they can do anything to you including jail or deportation with permanent ban. If you threaten to expose a political figure, make sure you have the antidote for any radioactive based poisons the FSB might use.
Of course you can, however they appeal to different markets. If Peterson doesn't appeal you can listen to Tate instead. Peterson is also preying, or you don't think he makes any money from it (if that is what you mean by preying).
